Chapter 3

Characters and portraits

A character has to look like the same person in every shot for the piece to feel real. This chapter covers generating characters and choosing their portraits.

1. Generate characters

In the characters step, the system identifies who appears in your script and drafts a visual design for each. You can add details by hand — age, build, clothing style, signature features. The more specific, the more stable the look.

2. Choose a portrait

Each character can generate several candidate looks (portraits). Pick the one that matches your vision and set it as the official look — all image generation from then on anchors to it, keeping the character consistent across shots.

3. Reuse and adjust

The Asset plaza has ready-made official characters, costumes, props, and scenes you can use directly, and your own characters can be reused across projects. Character changes follow the same candidate-then-confirm flow and never retroactively alter images you’ve already generated.
